Oh yeah I totally forgot this is the first year I wore a skirt and full makeup in public. Arguably one if the first if not the first times I properly girl moded instead of a weird in between. That was fucking amazing. I posted it on here if you dig deep into August

Its been fucking wild and busy but I am proud to have done it. I see myself more in the mirror as I progress to be the best me hot alt bubbly gal I want to be. I'll list the achievements here and maybe go into detail about it later. But this year I got up to:

• 3 year hrt mark

• realising how fucked my levels have been and actually adjusting them properly which is why 3 years hrt is weird. I remember celebrating getting it in the first place in this very fediverse.

• in March I got a job. Boring corporate job but it pays enough that I no longer feel depressed about my living situation and finally have a plan to move out. Its just been life changing to finally get the chance to get experience in the industry full time.

• in January I started learning to drive. Its still happening and I have my test later this month.

• I have been volunteering for a transgender sim racing team and being invited to actually manage the teams actual race entries and just fostering the best community we can for trans people in a niche hobby full of motorsports lovers.

• I decided to lose weight. I gained a lot since I got on hrt and lockdown happened. So far from September ive lost 10kgs out of my goal to lose around 37kg~. Thats 22lbs lost for the Americans in the room.

• me and my only current partner have been together for 2 years now. Shes been an absolute rock in my life and honestly so much to me. The longest ive actually been with someone and built something special with her. Helping her navigate poly stuff has been fun too and helped her find a lovely polycule setup too.

I might be forgetting stuff but this whole year has just been ups and improving myself and I hope to keep that up. I'm just so happy with how stuff has gone. I know ive not been around much but wanted to just put something down to book end it.

@duc Yeah, i will dm one in a bit. Im on a mission to fix my new install and get it comfy like my old one first but i can get it in a few.

@duc its both. I know thats confusing lol. The Discord to most people is a community but the community itself is ran by the team if that makes sense? We have people in there from all walks of sim racing even if they are in different teams also but also just people who like to boot up the f1 games or rally games. Though our primary sim is iRacing mostly because thats where the people joined the community from other than word of mouth.

@duc I mean all I can recommend is the team/community I am in. We are officially a trans and non binary team and our esports jerseys for the team feature the trans and nb flags in altering patterns on the sleeve cuffs to make this point too. I am bias but I would call the community there a queer friendly and non binary especially friendly place. I don't know of any other community that is for us in this way.

@duc well I would have to make the thing that makes it work lol. Its not that hard. iRacing exposes a section of shared memory for telemetry and the like for 3rd apps to hook into. We just need to translate vertical accel of the car body to a log of the strength of the insert-able subwoofer

@porsupah yeah but I like to run stuff but maybe also dont fancy the stupid media costs i have to pay for a site i dont use much lol. Always worried that if i pick a bad place that shuts down with no notice I wont like get to recover.

@Sylvhem ive not been on here in ages but i did have to explain each different fedi software to a friend and pleroma got the "its mostly used by that kinda person" lol. I dont even know whats up but im not surprised that didnt change while i was gone

oh yeah i might like make a new instance again to move from Masto or something and get something new. Idk I just need to reset and say hi to people again and get out there. Not looking forward to moving instance blocks tho that is a bitch to do

uh so my friends in the simracing community for trans people im in have now convinced me to finally connect buttplug.io to the vibration data in iRacing. They use that data in ground rumblers and subwoofers and kept joking about buttplug.io that I have to shut them up now and just make it

Idk if my instance is just bugged from a year of not touching it or if like I did something wrong to certain people ages ago. Seems like I dont see as many people as I followed back then.
