@porsupah when i updated it seemed to make a new db without me knowing in a different docker volume. now i have to run the older container for the db but that means im like 5 major versions too old and i have tried to restore the dump to the newer dp but it keeps failing with EOF? so confused. thats why ive not been using fedi

@roxie This is why I'm very reluctant to spin up my own instance. ^_^; Its internal stack is way too complicated for a simple bunny brain.
