My instance has been down for a bit due to a weird database issue. I have fixed that so if anyone wanted to get in touch with me and couldn't im here now.

@porsupah when i updated it seemed to make a new db without me knowing in a different docker volume. now i have to run the older container for the db but that means im like 5 major versions too old and i have tried to restore the dump to the newer dp but it keeps failing with EOF? so confused. thats why ive not been using fedi
@roxie This is why I'm very reluctant to spin up my own instance. ^_^; Its internal stack is way too complicated for a simple bunny brain.
(GoToSocial, though, sounds promising)
Ill be moving instances soon anyhow or figuring out how to get rid of the awful tech debt i have with this instance. its a bit of a mess
