I'm playing GTA IV again and damn Radio Broker is such a perfect late 2000s Brooklyn hipster radio station
Definitely my favourite station in the game, I live for late 2000s early 2010s indie shit
Also the driving physics are so shit that it's probably the only game I can drive better with a keyboard in cause of how much practice I've had as a tween
I wonder if there's actually a graphics card that can actually run this game perfectly, cause even my relatively high-end 2019 card struggles in busy scenes and with certain options turned on 💀
@hazelnot so as a former speed runner of this game, its going to be tough. Its not a graphics card bound issue usually. Depends what patch you are on. The latest one they did that removed windows live and a bunch of the music I think fixes a few things and introduces some new issues. Think that was released in 2018 so you'd have to downgrade yourself not to have it. What are your specs?
@roxie I use the Fusion Fix which fixes a bunch of things and adds a bunch of things as well (such as graphics more accurate to the console version) + the Radio Downgrader mod (which even reintroduces all 100 songs cut during development that still exist in the game files)

@roxie I mean, it looks a lot less washed-out, it has better shadows, bloom, stuff like that
I don't mean playing at 720p with definition turned off 😛
@roxie it even introduces antialiasing which this game sorely lacked
@hazelnot GTA PC ports and not breaking their graphic engines from the consoles challenge: impossible. I think GTA V is the only time they had an even working full game on PC.
