For some reason I ended up playing Prison Architect (my girlfriend was playing?)

A few things about the optimal way to play became clear

- Good conditions aren't profitable

- Cells aren't profitable, open dormitories are the best choice (and the most unhealthy and dangerous for prisoners)

- Prisoners should be split into isolated groups with dedicated facilities- under no circumstances should they cross between territories

- Getting new prisoners is more profitable than taking care of prisoners- so prisoner's dying is ideal

I could never really read if the fact that they made a Death Camp Simulation game was actually being critical of anything or not, but I'd like to think it is

@penny maybe they updated it but when i played it was giving them good conditions then basically using slave labour to get profit. idk i was never good at it and its defo something on how your system can turn someone who got in on a weed offense into a repeat offender for worse actually bad crimes just by having a for profit prison. yeah no idea how much the devs uhh were aware of how it actually a criticism

@roxie oh yeah that is an option, the absolute most efficient way to play the game is just to farm corn.

At that point it's clear that you've broken the game though

@penny guess its very american in that way lol. i moved to rimworld for the same gameplay in a way but much better and only as morally horrible as you want to go and its all spacey n stuff
